Here's our 2009
schedule:
Tour duh Hash The 2009 DC Tour duh Hash is almost upon us!! For those of you who still have your livers, you may remember last year’s Tour. Better than the Tour de France, the Tour duh Hash cruises through the DC Area’s hash kennels – hitting 9 different hashes in 9 days! This year, we’ll get started early on Saturday, June 13th with a trail hosted by Mount Vernon – and hared by last year’s TdH virgin – Tour duh Whore. We’ll then head out to College Park for BAH3, to Silver Spring for WH4, then around to the Virginia side of the beltway for a SHITty trail. And Hows Her Bush will host for Great Falls on Wednesday night, EWH3 will bring us back inside the beltway at Eisenhower Avenue , followed by WoWo and Crafty haring for Full mOOn at Catholic University . We’ll finish up the tour with a DCH4 trail and picnic on Saturday, and finally limp over the finish line on Sunday with an OTH3 trail in Woodbridge . This year, in order to track your participation in the Tour, Full mOOn will be issuing “TdH Passports”. As you check in for each leg of the Tour, you will present your passport to Hash Cash who will then conduct a thorough body cavity search* and rifle through your personal belongings** before allowing you to cross the border to their hashing territory. *Full mOOn not responsible for the extent of the body cavity search. Participate at your own risk/pleasure. **Hash Cash may elect to confiscate any material they find “suspicious”. Bribery is appreciated/ expected. So – do you think you can slurrrvive all 9 hashes? Can you make it to every one of them? Last year, 33 of us did! What with the state of the economy, you won’t find a better deal for your entertainment dollar than at a hash. Come for one trail, try to make as many as you can, or run them all, you’ll have a great time and meet hashers that you wouldn’t normally get to know. There’s not a better place to hash in the world that has as much variety and tradition, or as many dedicated hashers and beautiful harriettes, as in Washington DC . From MD and points north: Take I-95 South to Exit 173 Van Dorn Street. At the light, make a left onto Van Dorn St. Go to the bottom of the hill and make a right onto Eisenhower Ave. At the next light, make a left onto Metro Rd, Van Dorn Metro will be on your right. Park at the 2nd entrance to Van Dorn Metro. From Woodbridge and points south: Take I-95 North to Exit 173 Van Dorn Street. At the light, make a left onto Van Dorn St. Go to the bottom of the hill and make a right onto Eisenhower Ave. At the next light, make a left onto Metro Rd, Van Dorn Metro will be on your right. Park at the 2nd entrance to Van Dorn Metro. From Tysons Corner: Take I-495 to I-95 North, Take I-95 North to Exit 173 Van Dorn Street. At the light, make a left onto Van Dorn St. Go to the bottom of the hill and make a right onto Eisenhower Ave. At the next light, make a left onto Metro Rd, Van Dorn Metro will be on your right. Park at the 2nd entrance to Van Dorn Metro. Metro: Blue Line to Van Dorn Street Station. When you cum out into the parking area, go to the rear parking lot and look for people who don't belong there... If you haven't figure it out yet, we're starting at the Van Dorn Street Metro..... Dog factor: On walkers, but leave them at home ‘cause it’s too hot/humid for the pooches! Stroller factor: Walkers trail only. Miscellaneous: A to B, Bag Vehicle provided. (We'll get some car relay's back to the Metro right after trail for people to pick up their cars...) We have a two fantastic trails, a stroller friendly walkers trails and a very dry, short, not so stroller friendly, Ummmmm, how should wee put this...?, easier than falling off a bike... runners trails. We've heard on the news that there will be a total eclipse of the sun on the day of the hash and set to occur at just about the time the pack sets out! Make sure EVERYONE (Including the walkers) brings a headlamp, flashlight, and in some cases, maybe a searchlight! !! When it gets dark, we want you to find your way... If you are a runner and plan to bring a dog/stroller, please see the Hares prior to the start for special instructions. .. PI is in HIGH abundance on trails so protect yourself as you feel you need to... On-On-On: Tour duh Whore's house (5951 Franconia Rd, Alex, Va) Parking on the sides of Em Street, adjacent to the house or anywhere along Villa Street (One block East on Franconia Rd).

Take the red line to Silver Spring. Walk outside metro and follow markings to start. Driving: There are about 100 different ways to get to Silver Spring metro. It is best to just type into Google maps or your GPS the Silver Spring metro address at 8400 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD 20910 (or click on the tiny URL http://tinyurl.com/hash1251). We will be starting in the plaza area right outside the metro exit.
